Reason #742....
....to make your child learn an instrument: It helps fight off boredom on a cold winter day 30 years in the future when there's laundry and dishes piling up, Christmas presents to wrap, and she wants to do anything but chores.
I would love to hear you play! I wish I hadn't given up on the violin after 5 years, but private lessons were expensive, and my parents didn't push it :(
