Downtown Seattle: the view from our parking spot on Harbor Avenue before we boarded the water Taxi.

This is a (real) monk fish in the Pike Place Market. Flat Stanley returned to Seattle with me and wanted to pose with the Monk Fish. This market was where the employees toss fish to each other. There was a crowd standing around their stand waiting but few purchases. Still, the atmosphere of Pike Place Market was amazing and it was fun to be there.

There was crushed porcelain in this layer of cement and crushed flower pots in Post Alley.

These were hanging in the market. They were so colorful!

We fed the gulls some of our leftover fries (this is my arm); we had fish and chips at Ivar's. It was delicious....the seagulls agreed, apparently. Flat Stanley wanted to feed the gulls as well but the gull didn't like the paper person.

This is the Water Taxi that we took from West Seattle to Downtown Seattle.

Seth came to Trudy and John's house yesterday and took Flat Stanley and me to Pioneer Coffee House. We ordered Mexican Mochas and strolled along the beach collecting shells, rocks, and sea glass.

Aubrey,
I'm glad to see pics from your trip so far...and no rain, lucky girl. We have had fun with Jeremy and the kids too. Can't wait to see more. Love you, Carrie
Oh man! If only I'd thought of it... I ate at Ivars on a roadtrip with a college friend, and we both bought pint glasses there. Since then (it's only been, like, 10 years!) both of us have complained that we've broken our favorite pint glasses... I should have had you pick me up a couple :). Okay, maybe not. But your comment that you ate there made me jealous. Did you get fresh mini donuts on the pier? That was my favorite thing there!
Love how you are still travelling with Flat Stanley, that guy gets around!
Gosh, you make me miss Seattle!
You are making me want to go on vacation! It looks like you are having a great time.
Thanks, guys! This is great! :)
Regina--I'm going to give you a call in a little while!
